On January 21st, 2025, updated the TYE Attendance Guidelines making it much more restrictive. This policy does not distinguish between assigned and unassigned service. If you are a TY&E employee you are handled in the same fashion, whether you have access to rest or not.
Details on this new Attendance Guidelines can be found in System General Notice 33. Also available are ATG Q&A on the Employee Portal and a list of layoff codes with an explanation of how each is handled under the guidelines. A link to all three has been provided below. These documents will be updated but the preferred method of obtaining these documents is on the Employee Portal as they will be the most up to date.
