72-Hour Slide

Engineers have the ability to slide their vacation earlier up to 72 hours. If this selection is made before 72 hours in advance of the vacation start time the vacation will be slid earlier the entire 72 hours. If the selection is made with 72 hours of the vacation start time the vacation will be slid to start immediately. Follow the steps below to enable the 72-hour slide:

1. Login to the WFHUB

2. Click on “Assignment”

3. Click on “TYE Options”

4. Turn on Toggle #2 Slide my full week/7 Day VAC earlier by 72 hours. You can select either One-Time which will only apply to your next vacation or “Permanent” which will apply to all vacations until this selection is turned off. 

Slide to Coincide with Rest Days (Rest Cycle Boards Only)

Employees assigned to boards with rest cycles have the ability to slide their scheduled weeks of vacation to coincide with their rest days. Which rest days the vacation is slid to depends on how the vacation start day lines up with their rest days. 

• If the vacation starts during the rest cycle it will be slid later to start after the rest days. 

• If the vacation starts on the 1st day of the work cycle, no slide is needed.

• If the vacation starts on the 2nd day of the work cycle, it will be slid earlier to start after the rest days. 

• If the vacation starts on the 3rd day of the work cycle, it will be slid earlier to start after the rest days. 

• If the vacation starts on the 4th day of the work cycle, it will be slid later to start after the next rest days. 

• If the vacation starts on the 5th day of the work cycle, it will be slid later to start after the next rest days. 

• If the vacation starts on the 6th day of the work cycle, it will be slid later to start after the next rest days. 

 The calendar below will show how the vacation will be slid based on the start date of the rest days and vacation.

2. Click on “Assignment”

3. Click on “TYE Options”

4. Turn on Toggle #1 Move my vacation to coincide with my rest cycle/rest days. You can select either One-Time which will only apply to your next vacation or “Permanent” which will apply to all vacations until this selection is turned off.
